In memory of Sheila Slater
Sheila passed away peacefully on Sunday 9th February 2025 aged 79 years.
A much loved mother, auntie and grandmother, a good friend to many many people, and a beloved teacher of hundreds of children, Sheila will be greatly missed.
Her funeral service will be held at South Oxfordshire Crematorium and Memorial Park on Monday 10th March 2025 at 1pm, with a reception to follow at La Fontana restaurant in East Hanney.
The family would welcome donations to support Room to Read, a charity dedicated to promoting a world free from illiteracy and gender inequality, where all children have room to read, learn and grow — creating lasting change.
